Our name reflects our own. “Mitchabout” brings together Mitchell and Walkabout—the last names of our blended family. Together, we are Tom and Jeanette: engaged partners, parents to five daughters, grandparents to seven, and the hands and hearts behind every order.
Tom brings craftsmanship and careful attention to the workshop, selecting beautiful hardwoods and creating one-of-a-kind cutting boards, serving pieces, and home goods. Jeanette brings the creative vision, helping customers turn names, dates, handwriting, logos, and meaningful ideas into designs made especially for them.
